A correction is most useful when it points to the source and explains exactly what should change. This page is deliberately clear about the contact channel configured for the current deployment.
What to include.
For an event correction, provide the event title or map location, the relevant source URL, and a short explanation of the issue. Helpful requests identify whether the problem is the location, category, timing, summary, duplicate status, or source link.
For a privacy request, identify the relevant URL or record without sending unnecessary personal data. Operators may need to verify the request against source, retention, and legal obligations.
Public contact channel.
No maintainer mailbox or verified public issue tracker is present in this repository's metadata.
The deployment operator must publish a real correction channel before submitting the site for public use or advertising review. Mapews does not invent a mailbox or route correction requests to an unverified account.
The correction policy remains available even when the endpoint is not configured, so visitors can see what evidence a request should contain. The operator is responsible for monitoring the configured channel and documenting response practice.

Mapews is not an emergency reporting service. Call the appropriate local emergency number or follow official public-safety instructions for immediate danger. A correction request may not be read promptly.
